Our summer community work day was an extremely hot day. Nevertheless 11 volunteers came out to help. We moved more plants in anticipation of the construction. There was a lot of weeding to be done and we had to prune some tree limbs that were dried up. During the breaks to drink plenty fluids we bonded and caught up on what is happening in the neighborhood. One of the highlights was Lila showing us one of her latest “house guests” – a pair of baby humming birds in their nest.
